Join us for a full day of family fun, community celebration, and patriotic pride as we honor America’s 250th Anniversary and commemorate the 25th Anniversary of September 11th. The day's festivities are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted, with afternoon activities, outdoor recreation, and family-friendly events for all ages.

As the sun sets, look to the sky for Lights in the Sky—a spectacular synchronized drone show featuring dazzling patriotic imagery, vibrant storytelling, and unforgettable moments above the lodge.

State Park Programming

A bright, nature-themed educational room with blue floors, tree and animal wall decorations, a large central table, an aquarium, and a lighthouse mural at the far end. Sunlight streams in through large windows.

Nature Center

The nature center offers an immersive experience for visitors. Interactive exhibits invite guests to step into the shoes of the early settlers navigating the Great Black Swamp or to experience the journey of migrating birds. A children’s play area replicates the iconic Toledo Harbor Lighthouse, which can be seen from the shores of Lake Erie outside the nature center.
