Reservation Information
You can check in to your lodge room and/or cabins beginning at 4:00 p.m. Check-out time for lodge rooms 11:00 a.m. and cabins 10:00 a.m.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, JCB, and Diners Club.
We take reservations up to 12 months in advance of arrival.
All rates are stated in US dollars and are based on double occupancy in a standard double room, unless otherwise stated. Children under 17 years of age stay for free with at least one paid adult.
Our current tax rate is 7.75% sales tax, a 10% bed tax, and a 3% beautification fee.
In partnership with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, U.S. Hotel and Resort Management, Inc. will assess a three percent beautification fee on all purchases at the lodge.
The monies collected are designated to be used for the continual improvement of the overall lodge and cabin accommodations, and recreation amenities only.
- Rates listed are per night and are subject to applicable sales and bed tax. Rates and taxes are subject to change.
- Rates are listed in US dollars.
- Individual reservations will be accepted up to 12 months in advance from the first day of the month.
- A minimum length of stay may be required for weekends, holidays, or special events.
- No tents permitted at the cabins.
- A minimum length of stay for cabin rentals may be required from Memorial Day—Labor Day. Discounted rates may also be available for weekly cabin rentals. Please call 419-836-1466 for details.
- Cash basis rooms or cabins require full payment in addition to a $100 cash deposit per room per night and $200 cash deposit per cabin per night.
Maumee Bay State Park Lodge offers twelve accessible lodge rooms. Six of these rooms are equipped with one double bed and one twin bed. The other six accessible rooms are equipped with one king bed. All twelve accessible rooms have a view of lake Erie. Accessible rooms are available with roll-in showers. Maumee Bay State Park Lodge also offers accessible cabins. There are two accessible deluxe four-bedroom cabins both equipped with roll-in showers. Maumee Bay State Park Lodge offers three accessible two-bedroom cabins. - Room rates are based on double occupancy and can vary on a daily basis.
- Children under 17 years of age stay free in the same room with parents or guardians.
- Rollaway beds are based upon availability, for an additional charge of $15.00 plus taxes, per night.
- Pack and Plays are based upon availability at no additional charge.
All reservations require an advance deposit payable by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, JCB and Diners Club. The credit card is charged the deposit of the first nights stay amount at the time of booking.
Maumee Bay Lodge & Conference Center offers a select number of cabins designated as “pet friendly.” Pet friendly cabins can be booked online. Pets are not permitted in any cabin not designated as “pet friendly.” Pets are not permitted in any lodge rooms. However, all assistance dogs for visually or hearing impaired or orthopedically challenged individuals are permitted in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991.
Please note that our lodges and cabins, in accordance with state law, provide a smoke-free environment for all guests. We ask that this non-smoking policy be observed inside all guest rooms, cabins and public areas, including restaurants. Smoking is only permitted 30 feet away from any building. Smoking is prohibited on all room and cabin decks, patios, balconies, and porches.
The minimum age for reserving and/or checking in to any of our accommodations is 21 years old. A valid government-issued identification is required.
Room and cabin reservations may be modified or canceled up to 3 days (72 hours) prior to your arrival, excluding the Reunion Cabin; after that date, the deposit is non-refundable. If you wish to modify or cancel your reservation, please visit our online booking engine or contact our reservations office directly at (419) 836-1466. Please note that if you are eligible for a refund, it may take up to 10 business days to process.
Reunion Cabin Cancellation Policy
Guests can cancel up to 30 days prior to arrival for a full refund. A $250 security deposit, per night is required.

Under Ohio law, alcohol is prohibited in all public areas of every state park, including lakes, campgrounds, beaches, and trails. The only exceptions are Lodge restaurants and lounges. Each lodge is the liquor permit holder and, in accordance with Ohio law, alcohol purchased off premises is strictly prohibited. The golf course pro shop at Maumee Bay offers limited beverage service. The legal age for possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages, regardless of family status, is 21 years of age. A valid government-issued identification is required to possess, purchase, share in the cost of, or consume any alcoholic beverages at any time.
Public areas (i.e. anywhere outside of your room or cabin) are for the enjoyment of all guests. All food must be purchased through the lodge and consumed only in the dining room, lounge or private meeting room. Therefore, no food is to be consumed in the public areas. Private meeting rooms are available for larger gatherings.
Indoor hot tubs are available in our indoor pool area for guest use and our Four Bedroom Deluxe Cabins include a private hot tub which seats up to 5 guests.
Recreational equipment including, but not limited to, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, hoverboards, roller skates, inline skates, motorized vehicles and toys, drones, and remote controlled devices are not permitted in the lobbies, corridors, hallways, or any interior area of the Lodge.
Winter days are chilly, with temperatures ranging from 15–30°F. Evenings are much colder, staying in the single digits and teens, but rarely dropping below 0°F. Winter snow and ice storms are common.
The early spring months are similar to winter, with the same likelihood of storms. Late spring temperatures rise to the 70s during the day and evening temperatures drop to approximately 30–45°F.
The summer months bring long hot days averaging 85°F, which is ideal weather to experience the many activities at Maumee Bay. Enjoy a summer evening stroll through the park, with night temperatures in the 60s.
Fall brings a burst of brilliant color and the early months are comfortably crisp with the day temperatures ranging from 60–70°F and evenings in the 50s.
Maumee Bay Lodge & Conference Center is open year-round; however, areas such as the golf course, beach and outdoor pool are open seasonally. Peak season runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
There are no park entrance fees at Maumee Bay State Park.
